SKAUK U12 Team at 2024 MSSD Keramat Chess Championship

SKAUK has sent one B12 chess team for each category - L12 for Boys Under 12 and P12 for Girls Under 12 in the recently concluded MSSD Keramat 2024. 

The event was held on Thursday, 9th May 2024, and Friday, 10th May 2024. All the school teams in the MSSD Keramat had to play five rounds to determine the champions. The first three rounds were played on the first day while the final two rounds namely Round 4 and Round 5 were held on the second day.

The time control is 30 minute per player. All the players both Boys and Girls had given their best to get the best result in the district scholastic championship.

SKAUK 2024 B12 Chess Team in MSSD Keramat chess championship

The SKAUK P12 Chess Team led by Izzah emerged the Bronze medalist out of 20 competing teams scoring 7 points from 3 wins and one draw. The team was close enough to become the First Runner Up.

Meanwhile the SKAUK L12 Chess Team was in 9th out of 25 teams with 2 wins and 2 draws scoring 6 match points. 

Surely, the SKAUK L12 Chess Team will come back stronger in next year edition to be among Top 3 winners.
